Junior Cricket Club
The Junior Programme provides the opportunity for children of all age grades and abilities to participate in the game of cricket. The programme is run by parents and volunteers for the local community.

Essendon Junior Blast is the entry level to a cricket programme.This programme s for children aged 5 - 7years.
​
Essendon Junior Cricket Club regularly enters two teams in each grade for the NWMCA season:

Under 10 - children aged 8 to 9 years old

Under 12 - children aged 10 to 11 years old

Under 14 - children aged 12 to 13 years old

Under 16 - children aged 14 to 15 years old

Essendon Junior Cricket Club aspires to have at least three all female junior teams entered in the NWMCA Junior Female Competition each season.
