The Mick Mitchell Award and Senior Presentation Night for Season 2025/26 will be held Saturday the 18th of April at the Essendon Bowls Club (50 Raleigh Street, Essendon). 3 RD XI Elimination Final FDCC 231 & 0/71 def ECC 172 It was a disappointing end to what has been a great season for the young 3 rd XI going down in a seesawing final at Schramms Reserve #2 at the weekend. 1 st XI: ECC 221 def by FCDC 8-222 It was a frustrating day for the 1 st XI ultimately going down by two wickets in a thrilling game at Schramms Reserve. Resuming with Fitzroy at 2/30 the Bombers made early in roads with the fast bowling cartel of Noman Safder, Lachie Busk and Nick McGuane destroying the Lion’s top order and having the Lions under pressure at 6/79.
