An exciting weekend of One Day cricket, see the recap below, 1 st  XI ECC 8-209 def by PCC 4-210 It was a day of what ifs for the 1sts in a competitive display against a strong Prahran CC. Playing away at Toorak Park and being sent in to bat the Bombers were competitive in posting 8-209 against a very strong Prahran attack. Three Bomber's selected in 2025/26 Victoria Metro U17 Squad
The squad will play in the upcoming national championships. The Essendon Cricket Club is proud to announce the selection of Simrth Gill, Jackson Martin and Luay Miraz in the U17 Victoria Metro Squad for upcoming national championships. All three young players are integral part of our senior list and U18 programme. Jackson Martin is a left arm off spin bowler currently playing in the Clubs 1st XI and U18 Team. Round 3, Day Two Match Reports 1 st  XI FCC 264 def ECC 88 & 2/92 It was a disappointing day for the 1 st  XI being bowled out for a disappointing 88 in replay to Frankston’s 264. Resuming at 2/12 the 1sts were confident of a second victory on the trot however in a run chase that never got going the 1sts were bowled out for 88.
